North Florida is a diverse and fragile area. The people who live in and around North Florida rely on the organisms and natural resources that this area provides. This project captured and pieced together the accounts of scientists and North Florida natives in order to show people how important this land really is. The goal at Untouched Florida is to raise awareness about the negative alterations that climate change has made to North Florida and the consequences that come with these alterations. We hope that bringing these issues into the light will promote positive environmental change amongst our audience.

Eva Alpert

Hi, my name is Eva Naiva Alpert. I am a senior at Florida State University, from Boca Raton majoring in Environmental Science and minoring in Spanish.  As a member of Untouched Florida, my mission is to help increase the following platform of our group. Through social media, more specifically through Instagram we have peaked the  interest of members in society about Untouched Florida and our mission statement. Untouched Florida spoke to me because our group had a different approach to climate change. This approach involved us reaching out to both the scientific community as well as concerned citizens who may be curious about climate change.
