Greek Communities and Climate Change - Meet the People

Chase - Chase created the Garnet, Gold, and Green emblem as well as the sustainability brochure to market our cause and educate others about climate change and sustainability. He also helped consult with the sororities to develop sustainable action initiatives for their individual houses.

Matt - Matt brought awareness of the project to the FSU sports clubs as a potential way to meet team community service requirements. He is also in the process of setting up permanent recycling collection for the FSU campus rec sports facilities.

Paige - Paige helped in working with the sororities interested. She helped the interested sororities in finding areas in which they could improve their sustainability, and how to do so.

As a Science Education doctoral student, Becky brought attention to the ways that people learn and engage with science. She facilitated progress within the group and led the initial outreach to the Panhellenic community and the Office of Campus Sustainability.
