Progress Report

PLANNING IN ACTION

In class we have been working on scheduling and planning our video projects. This week we will film our first video project on Landis Green. This video will show how long it takes an individual to pick up a plastic water bottle. This will be paired with a short interview of each person who participated in our social experiment. The purpose of the video is showcasing how each person can make a small change that will add up to make an enormous difference. Thalia is working on filming our first Future Friday. She will interview two people and send the video to Wendy or Grace who will edit the video. The video will be posted to our Instagram story and added to the “Future Friday” highlight on the profile.

Here is everyone in class on Tuesday, March 5th // (Wendy Parkulo, Grace Specht, Jessica Juachon, Rayne Hawkins, Thalia Fletcher, Becca Hendricks, Brittany Defran, and Jayna Peacock took the photo) working on our Progress Report

Here is our very first #MarvelousMonday post, including a factual caption about a beautiful waterfall just outside of Tallahassee!

"Did you know that Chipley, just over an hour west of Tallahassee, is home to the tallest waterfall in the state?"

We have been providing our followers with links to recipes to implement our #MeatlessMonday. Also our awesome #TipTuesday encourages our audience to take one tiny step into the right direction. Our tip for this week was how to make your meals sustainable by promoting our meatless Monday post.

LOGO

Jessica made our fabulous logo that features our name and a tree that is both dying and alive showing how our actions can have negative and positive effects.

Our logo is the face of our campaign and has been published on all of our social media platforms

GOALS

We plan to film and post our first video by next week. We will continue to post regularly on Instagram. We are also filming our first Save the Future Friday video and posting it this Friday.

CHALLENGES

We are having difficulties figuring out scheduling but we are making it work. Perhaps if we had class time to work on different aspects of our project outside of the classroom we would be able to make quicker progress on our project.

BUDGET
